Agaar is returning to the Test against Tigers
Although the Test debut 4 years ago, the all-rounder could not make it to the squad. Inclusion in the team against Bangladesh has also been widely criticized. Ashton Aggar is returning to Test cricket again after the match against the Tigers. OG coach Darren Lehmann said, "We are hopeful that Ashton will do something like this. '
Agaar, who has been able to satisfy the selectors with a good performance in Australia's domestic Sheffield Shield this season, retreated left-arm spinner Steve O'Keefe and rejoined the team.
Lehmann also said, "Ashton is doing very well in batting and he is a great fielder. We are really happy in his performance. '
Australia are expected to play two spinners in the first Test starting in Dhaka on Sunday. In that case, regular spinner Nathan Lyon of Ajantha can be part of the team. Before the start of the Test series, a two-day warm-up match was scheduled to be played in Australia, But due to ground problem it was canceled.
So a tour of the OG Team starts with a match starting at Sher-e-Bangla stadium. Bangladesh lost last year to England three days in the field.
Lehmann said, "We had a three-day match to tour India earlier this year. Sometimes the matches are short but the Test matches are certainly interesting. We're ready for that. But the wicket here looks very good. '
The Australia team, led by Ricky Ponting, last visited Bangladesh in 2006. The second Test of the series will start on September 4 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.
