Legal notice to stop BCB's activities


The Board of Directors of the Board of Directors has announced the date of the Annual General Meeting and the Special General Meeting on October 2, in the case of the Supreme Court's ruling on July 26, in a constitutional-related case. But the plaintiff of the case, Architect Mobasher Hossain claimed, according to the verdict, the current governing body of the BCB has no validity. For this, he has sent a legal notice to the BCB, the President of the BCB, and seven persons, including the organization, to stop all the activities of the Board with general meetings and special meetings.

Without legal notice, BCB and BCB have sent legal notice to the Ministry of Youth and Sports and its secretary, National Sports Council, chairman of the sports council and its secretary. In the next 72 hours on legal notice sent to BCB, BCB has been asked to stop the activities of organizing annual and special meetings. At the same time, the current board president and the board of directors have been asked to refrain from performing their duties. What is the legal action taken after getting legal notice, the legal action will be taken by the plaintiff not knowing it within three days.

Mobhaber Hossain's lawyer Barrister Mahbub Shafiq said on Wednesday that the verdict in the High Court's 2012 verdict has no validity in the present committee of the present BCB. It has become illegal. That's why we told the National Sports Council that the BCB should not be able to manage any activities including AGM, EGM, to take action. Otherwise, writ petition will be filed.

BCB chief executive officer Nizam Uddin Chowdhury tried to contact the mobile phone to know about legal notice, but he could not be found.
